Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using PocketID ("the App"). By downloading, installing, or using PocketID, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PocketID, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

PocketID is a local-first document management application that allows users to scan, store, and organize personal documents on their devices. The App may optionally sync data via iCloud using Apple's CloudKit private database.

3. User Responsibilities

• You are solely responsible for the documents you scan and store using PocketID
• You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose, including but not limited to forging or falsifying identity documents
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and any biometric or passcode protections
• You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data; we cannot recover lost data

4. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

PocketID offers optional premium features through auto-renewable subscriptions, managed via Apple's App Store. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon purchase confirmation
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
• No refunds will be provided for the unused portion of a subscription term; refund requests should be directed to Apple

5. Intellectual Property

PocketID and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by the developer and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

PocketID is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• The results obtained from using the App will be accurate or reliable
• Any defects will be corrected

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer of PocketID shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or personal injury, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of PocketID is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle (and do not collect) your data. Please review the Privacy Policy carefully.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or to us.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be available on this page. By continuing to use PocketID after any changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
